Abdulaziz Al Shaya Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Abdulaziz AlShaya graduated in economics and Political Science from Kuwait University in 1977 and joined the family business. Leading it to be one of the leading perfume retail chains in Kuwait and has been expanded to all GCC countries.

He founded AlShaya Perfumes factory and established Afkar General Trading in 1982 as a specialized importer, wholesaler, distributor for the local market and exporter for perfumery and related products to GCC countries and beyond.

With his variety of experiences in various fields, Abdulaziz AlShaya is leading AlShaya Perfumes team. In addition to his experience in the business for over 42 years, he has experience in the Banking field where he is a board member of Boubyan Bank since 2009 till today, And in the Real Estate field he is Vice Chairman of Awtad Real Estate and AlNama'a Real Estate-Oman-  since both had established and a board member of Mabanee company since 2014 till today. While in the Investment field, he was Vice Chairman of First Investment Company and Orient Investment Company & a Chairman of Orient Holding Company. And In the Finanace field he was Chairman of First Finance Company -Qatar. And in Insurance field he was a board member of Wethaq Takaful Insurance Company. Finally in the Education field he is Vice Chairman of Orient Education Services Company.
